Terms of useUpdated 13 September 2026

These terms apply when you watch, chat, pay for a clip or use $SLOP on slopTV. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

slopTV currently runs on a test network with test money that has no value. These terms will apply in full when payments move to real money.

Who can use slopTV

You must be 18 or over.

What slopTV is

slopTV is a television channel where every frame is generated by AI from prompts people write. Nothing on it depicts a real event, person or institution. The channel runs all day, every day, but we do not promise it will always be available, and we can change or stop any part of it.

Paying for a clip

  • You pay in USDC on the Base network. The price is shown before you confirm, and it depends on the model and the length you choose.
  • Part of what you pay is an entry fee, at least 5% of the price. It is held with your payment until your clip is decided.
  • When your clip airs, your payment goes to the station, with 5% of it set aside for the weekly Hall of Fame.
  • If the station can't make your clip, you can withdraw everything we did not spend making it, entry fee included.
  • If our moderation refuses your prompt, or you withdraw before your clip is made, you get your payment back less the entry fee.
  • Withdrawals are made from your profile, to the wallet that paid.

A clip is made as soon as you pay for it. By paying, you ask for it to start at once, and you accept that you lose the 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content once it has started.

What you can ask for

Every prompt is checked before it can be made, and every finished clip is checked before it airs. We refuse prompts and remove clips that are illegal, that show real people, that are sexual, hateful or violent, or that break someone else's rights. We can remove any clip from the channel at any time.

Your clips

You keep whatever rights you have in your prompt and your clip. You let slopTV air, re-air, show and share them on the channel and when promoting it, anywhere and without paying you, for as long as the clip is in the library. AI-generated work may not be protected by copyright at all, so do not rely on owning a clip.

The chat

The chat is public. Be decent. We remove messages and block names that are abusive, illegal or spam.

$SLOP

$SLOP is a token used on the channel: to react to a clip, to re-air one, to like and to earn free clips. It is not an investment. We make no promise about its value, it does not give you a share of the station's income, and you can lose all of what you paid for it.

Wallets and the blockchain

You are responsible for your wallet and its keys. Transactions on the blockchain are final and public. We cannot reverse a payment you made, or recover funds sent to the wrong address.

Liability

slopTV is provided as it is. As far as French law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, for losses caused by the blockchain, your wallet or a third-party service, or for what a generated clip shows. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that the law does not let us limit.

Changes

We can update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. Using slopTV after a change means you accept the new version.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Write to [email protected] first and we will try to sort it out. If we cannot, you can use the consumer mediator named in the legal notice for free, or go to court.
